Here's the 12 values and principles that are important to us:
- encourage and support women getting outdoors in a safe, supportive, judgement-free way
- increase women’s skills and knowledge in outdoor pursuits
- help grow the self-confidence of our participants
- keep our participants safe in the bush
- promote well-being and healthy hobbies and interests
- minimise the potential burden on our Search & Rescue Communities
- set strong female role models for our community
- respect the environment and support preserving Australia’s natural heritage
- better connect women with nature and natural sciences, via the outdoors
- promote diversity of participation through seeking women of all ages, backgrounds, cultures, gender identity and experiences in our group
- we acknowledge and respect the traditional custodians of the land, the Ngunnawal and Ngambri people, on whose land we conduct our activities
